GLOBAL INTEGRITY NETWORK
The Business Ethics Center of Jerusalem, in an effort to promote business ethics and social responsibility within individuals and companies, has established the Global Integrity Network (GIN).
The GIN furthers integrity- the alignment of values and actions- in Jewish society and in the wider world. In pursuit of this mission, the Network seeks:
- To highlight the centrality of Ethics in Judaism
- To further ethical conduct among Jews in the workplace
- To harness the activism and passion of Jews worldwide who seek to instill the values of Jewish ethics into their homes, their lives and their communities
- To promote business and public ethics as an arena of Jewish values in which all Jews, regardless of their background or religious affiliation, can find common ground
To fulfill its mission, the GIN is setting up chapters based in cities across North America. The founding chapter has been established in Orange County, California.
Why Jewish Ethics?
Modern technology has revolutionized the way we communicate and work. But at the same time, the modern workplace has generated moral dilemmas that we did not face in the past. Jewish ethics can shed light on these questions and on endless others that inevitably arise in the activities of daily living and work.
The Network welcomes individual and corporate members from all areas and provides suitable contexts for their active involvement.
